Dressing Up Jeans and a Tee with Wantable
Hey Y’all!
(Guys I always want to say that, but I’m so not country, so it definitely doesn’t work for me. Oh well, maybe in another life 😂)
Anyway, it’s Thursday and I owe y’all 😉 a new blog post! I recently partnered with Wantable to try out their home delivery style edits. I’ve always wanted to sign up for a service like this and Wantable was the perfect opportunity. With Wantable, you are assigned a personal stylist who puts together a box full of goodies for you every month based on your preferences. When you first sign up, you complete a total style edit/questionnaire so that your stylist can gauge exactly what you are interested in – everything from price point, to sizes, to the type of product (think dresses – body con? shift dress? wrap dress? or denim – distressed? boyfriend? skinny? etc.). The questions are pretty extensive, but it is meant to ensure your stylist finds the right items for you.
To be honest, when I received my first box I was a little disappointed. I didn’t really LOVE anything. But after receiving the edit, I had the chance to provide feedback. I was very honest with my stylist and even named a few items in particular that I wanted (a cute pair of skinny jeans and a pair of distressed denim). Each delivery since the first has gotten better and better. It’s a little bit of a “get to know you” game, but that totally makes sense. My stylist has never met me so she doesn’t know my style right away. I can tell that she is getting to know me though, because by my third box, I wanted to keep every item!
My favorite part of the subscription is getting that “surprise” delivery every month. Although you know it’s coming, it’s always exciting to come home to that package full of potential new babes to add to your closet. The dangerous part though, is that it is super easy to keep everything (bye bye bank account). Wantable makes it very simple for you to keep or return things. Shipping and returns are complimentary. After you receive your edit, you have five days to decide what you want to keep. You go online, complete your check out – selecting what you would like to return and what you would like to keep – then you seal up the pre-labeled bag and put it in the mail. You’re done – and you are only charged for what you keep!
This month I decided to keep this adorable t-shirt and a pair of high waisted jeans (not the ones pictured – I’ll show you the ones I kept soon!) As always, I love a good t-shirt and jeans combo. This shirt is so soft and I love the subtle color blocking. Although it can definitely be considered casual, I decided to dress it up with a fancy pair of heals and a jeweled clutch. Oh and by the way – these are my wedding shoes!!! I swore when I bought them that I would get more than just one use out of them (because they were a bit of a splurge). Well, I’m happy to report that I have worn them more than once (ok, maybe only like three times).
Anyway, I love the distressed denim paired with this t-shirt – and you know I will always find a way to dress it up! You can shop my look below (except for the t-shirt, which is a Wantable exclusive).
xoxo,
❤️Whit
