Holiday Gift Guide 101: For Your Man!
Some men can be very difficult to shop for…well at least I know my guy is. Probably because he seems to have everything already! However, there are some staple items that every guy should own. This list can help you get the process started for adding these pieces to his life.
Check out the gifts below that coordinate with the images above. I’ve linked each item so that you can quickly shop for them from here. Some of these are items or brands that I’ve found over the years and they are really great pieces!
one // Custom Menswear from Trumaker. Trumaker is a newer menswear company that specializes in custom shirts and suits. It is super convenient for your guy because the rep will come to you. Their prices are pretty reasonable too, considering everything is made to fit your man perfectly. I would suggest purchasing a gift card for your beau so that he can set up an in person fitting with one of the Trumaker reps. He will then meet with a rep, have all of his measurements taken and choose which items he would like to purchase. It’s a fun experience and the clothes will fit him perfectly!
two // Shinola Watch. Or really any watch, but I’m loving Shinola these days. They are great quality and the price isn’t too bad either for how nice of a watch you’re getting. I gave my hubby a Tag Heuer watch as his wedding gift and he wears it everyday. Every man needs a nice watch that he will wear daily!
three // Graf Lantz Duffle Bag. I can’t remember how I discovered these bags, but I’ve become a little bit obsessed. Guys can be weird about carrying bags – no man wants to be accused of having a “murse” – but these are masculine enough that they look cool walking around with one.
four // Fitbit Flex 2. Fitness trackers are all the rage right now. And Fitbit keeps stepping up their game with new additions to their fitness tracker line. AND this one starts at $99.95 – not bad!
five // Clark’s Desert Boot. My husband swears by these dang shoes! He has worn them ever since I’ve known him and he gets a new pair every Christmas. They are a classic shoe that can be dressed up or down and he says they are super comfortable. They also keep his feet a little warmer during our cold months here in Chicago.
six // Patagonia ‘Better Sweater’ Zip Front Jacket. Another piece that my hubby loves. He had this jacket and lost it last year. Well guess what, we had to go out and buy the exact same one because he missed it so much. It’s lighter weight but a great transitional piece. I also love this light grey color.
seven // Ugg Ascot Slippers. Slippers are clutch in the winter. And these bad boys are made of leather and have a rubber sole. So you know those times when it’s cold outside and no one wants to put their boots on to take out the trash? Well these can survive a quick outdoor run to the trash bin! Also, the leather makes them much more durable and they will last multiple winters.
eight // J. Crew Sweatpants. I bought these for my man last Christmas and they are his go-to lounge pants. And I’m not gonna lie – they make his butt look pretty cute too 🙂 I love that they look a little more “fashionable” and not so baggy/grungy.
I hope this helps some of you planning out your holiday gifts for the men in your life!
Happy shopping!
